May 2023 Collective Tarot Reading

I could spend hours looking at tarot artwork, and I'm so fascinated by the endless possibilities there are to creatively and visually interpret the meanings, themes, and storylines of the Major and Minor Arcana. I've also found reading tarot to be a self-care practice. Consulting my cards on a regular basis provides me with designated time to recalibrate my focus, recharge my batteries, and reconnect with my innermost self.

For my monthly collective tarot pulls, I center myself through a bit of meditation/breathwork before asking my Raider Waite Smith deck what general messages or overall themes for the coming month I should be passing along. I then shuffle until at least two cards fall out of the deck, and use my pendulum to ask for clarity if I can't tell if a card is meant to be read as upright or reversed.

I analyze the cards' meanings individually, then in connection with one another. My interpretations are informed by a combination of my various tarot decks' guidebooks, the tarot interpretation resources at Biddy Tarot, and my own intuition.

This month's cards for the collective were the Ace of Pentacles, the 8 of Swords reversed, the 6 of Swords, and the Knight of Swords.

In an effort to better respect my own time, work, and energy, the full contents of May 2023's collective tarot are only available for Direct Motion patrons. You can access tarot readings, astrology forecasts, behind-the-scenes content, and more) for as little as $6/mo!
